Iyengar Yoga ~ for Today & Tomorrow

The Hobart School of Iyengar Yoga (formerly the Hobart Yoga Room) was established in 1995 and teaches Iyengar Yoga from beginner students onwards. Timetable and application form are current from December 2025.

New students wishing to trial a free class can do so in the first week of the month (subject to space)

An emailed application form is required and phone bookings will not be accepted.

December classes will run from Wednesday 3rd December until Tuesday 16th December

January classes will resume on Thursday 15th January 2026

(as usual there will be no classes on the 29th, 30th, 31st January)

If you can’t attend all four classes over this period, please nominate the classes you are able to attend and pay $25 per class.

We’ll also be running two 5-day intensives running from Monday 5th January until Friday 9th January:

* an early morning Level 2 Intensive (6:15am-8am) &

* an evening Level 1 Intensive (5:30pm -7:15pm)

The cost for these will be $100 (or $25 per session).

Preference will be given to those students attending all five sessions. Bookings are essential.

Monthly Class Fees (from December 2025)
Fees are calculated on a four classes per month basis. Where students book into less than the 4 classes, each studio class costs $25. Zoom classes are $18/session.

Level 1 and 2 studio classes	$80
ZOOM (mixed level) classes	$72

Course and Miscellaneous Fees

Private Class (1 hour)	$90
Open Practice	$8/session
Pranayama Class	$20

STUDENTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN MAT AND YOGA STRAP TO EACH CLASS
